Descending

That afternoon we finally descended below the tree line into Indian Bar - the site of the first 728 overnight. Since I wasn't there, I was regailed with stories of the "good old days" when everybody wore sneakers (instead of hiking boots) and carried cans of beer up 4,000 feet.
